Crotone officially confirmed that the French striker Rivier was injured.
Rivier, 30, joined Crotone on a free transfer from Cosenza this summer. He signed a contract with the team that expires in the summer of 2022.
Rivier scored in his Serie A debut, he scored the goal of Genoa in the first round of this season.
However, Rivier missed two games due to injury and he came off the bench in the late Serie A game where Crotone lost 2-4 away to Cagliari on October 25.
Crotone now officially stated that Riviere was injured in training and he was found to have a first-degree strain on his right thigh during the inspection.
This kind of injury usually takes a week or two to recover. Rivie has already begun treatment and he will get the attention of the club team doctor.
